Tintwistle primary is looking for a creative, enthusiastic Y3/4 teacher on a one year contract from 1.9.21. There is a possibility that the contract may be extended pending a staffing review. NQTs are welcome to apply and would be supported by an experienced mentor.

Tintwistle is a village school which currently has four classes, due to an increase in pupil numbers we will be creating an additional class from September 2021. We have well equipped modern buildings, a garden and a forest school area. Tintwistle is situated near Glossop at the northern end of Derbyshire, close to the border with Tameside. We are a friendly, happy school with well behaved children and supportive parents.

Tintwistle is a Church of England school and applicants must be prepared to support our Christian ethos.
