What skills and experience we're looking for

  • We are looking for a dedicated individual who can:

    • Lead and drive the ethos and culture of the Academy

    • Can successfully teach all aspects of KS3/4 DT

    • Is an inspirational leader and role model to colleagues and students

    • Is someone with high expectations for all and who is able to encourage and enthuse students to achieve their full potential

    You will be:

    • A highly motivated and committed leader who will lead the DT Department at BYA and who will work collaboratively with other DT subject leads across the Trust

    • A colleague who is looking to further develop their career withing a supportive team

    • A team-player who can develop positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

    • Someone who will support the Trust’s Christian ethos as well as our shared mission and values
