Vice Principal job summary
As Vice Principal, you will play a key strategic role in driving high-quality, inclusive education across the Academy. Working closely with the Principal, you will provide leadership that upholds our values and ensures excellence in teaching, learning, curriculum design, and whole-school development. You will contribute to a culture of high expectations, continuous improvement, and equitable outcomes for all learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong, strategic leadership aligned with the Academy’s vision, values, and improvement priorities.
- Lead and enhance the quality of teaching, learning, assessment, and curriculum development.
- Support, coach, and develop staff through effective CPD, performance management, and professional collaboration.
- Oversee day-to-day operational management, ensuring a safe, well-organised, and inclusive learning environment.
- Work in partnership with families, staff, external agencies, and the wider community to raise standards and improve outcomes for all pupils.

- Has significant senior leadership experience with a demonstrable record of school improvement.
- Possesses exceptional interpersonal, organisational, and leadership skills.
- Is committed to collaboration, equity, inclusion, and meaningful community engagement.
- Has a thorough understanding of curriculum design, pedagogy, assessment, and current educational standards
