This is a meaningful and varied role, combining proactive work to build emotional literacy and resilience with responsive, relational support for pupils who need extra help to regulate and navigate their immediate experiences . You will work closely with children, families and staff to remove barriers, strengthen wellbeing and champion inclusion.
About the role
As our Wellbeing Mentor, you will:
- Provide targeted emotional support for pupils
- Help children develop self‑regulation, confidence and resilience
- Work collaboratively with teachers, leaders and families
- Play a visible and valued role in shaping our positive school culture
- Contribute to an inclusion team that is central to the life of the school
- Provide In-the-moment support, responding calmly and sensitively,
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting children in an educational, pastoral or wellbeing context
- Prioritises connection and safety through reassurance, language, and co‑regulation.
- Builds warm, trusting relationships with children and families
- Understands the importance of inclusion, safeguarding and early support
- Is calm, reflective and committed to helping every child succeed
