Purpose of the role of a Class Teacher (see the JD/PS for accountabilities):

To fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teacher’s Pay and Conditions document.

To meet the expectations set out in the Teacher’s Standards

What You’ll Bring to Futura: We are looking for a motivated and inspirational Year 4 Class Teacher who:

· Has qualified teacher status and successful completion of induction year.

· Can demonstrate evidence of exemplary classroom practice.

· Has knowledge and experience of using a range of strategies to deal with pupil behaviour

· Has knowledge of recent developments in learning and teaching 

· Has the ability to inspire and motivate 

· Has the ability to take the initiative, be flexible and respond to change. 

· Demonstrate a passion for creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all members of our school community.

· Align with our trust-wide values by bringing a positive, collaborative approach to their work and a willingness to continuously develop professionally.
