Start Date - January 2027

The Federation of North Walsham Infant and Junior Schools is seeking an exceptional teacher to join our amazing Year 6 team.

North Walsham is a busy market town located just 15 miles (25 minutes drive) north-east of Norwich. Our school serves an area of high deprivation, which means every lesson you teach and every strategy you implement has the potential to make a monumental difference in the lives of our children. Our families need us, and our children deserve an amazing teacher who sees their brilliance through the barriers.

As part of the Broad Horizons Education Trust, a family of 13 primary, 3 secondary, and 2 special schools, we offer:

  • Fantastic links with other schools within our Trust, providing opportunities for shared best practices and professional networking.

  • Large, beautiful outdoor spaces.

  • A comprehensive CPD package tailored to your career aspirations.

  • A dedicated Wellbeing Package for all staff, acknowledging that our team is our greatest asset.

  • An amazing and supportive staff team and a collegiate approach to school improvement

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Has high expectations for our children and is willing to go the extra mile.

  • Has an understanding of the Key Stage 2 national curriculum

  • Can create an inspiring, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued.

  • Is committed to supporting a diverse pupil population, including high numbers of children with SEND, EAL and those eligible for Pupil Premium.

Why Join Us?

  • A Unique Setup: The benefits of a shared site mean you can influence a child’s journey from Reception all the way to Year 6.

  • A Support Network: A dedicated staff team who are all in for our community.

  • Professional Growth: We invest in our teachers. Whether it’s NPQs or specialised SEN training, we’ve got your back.
