Featherby Partnership Schools are seeking an enthusiastic Administration Assistant to join our welcoming team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become the friendly face and voice of our school, supporting pupils, families, visitors and colleagues while helping to keep our busy school offices running smoothly.

Working across both our Infant and Junior Schools, you'll play a key role in providing high-quality administrative support and ensuring every interaction reflects our warm and inclusive school community.

About the Role

As an Administration Assistant, you'll provide day-to-day administrative and reception support across the school, helping ensure pupils, families and staff receive an excellent service.

In this role, you will:

  • Welcome visitors, parents and contractors while managing reception and visitor procedures

  • Answer telephone and email enquiries, providing a professional first point of contact

  • Support pupil administration, attendance and admissions processes

  • Maintain accurate records using the school's Management Information System (MIS)

  • Provide administrative support for school events, trips, clubs and wider school activities

  • Assist with general office administration, correspondence and record keeping

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the school and wider Trust to support the smooth running of daily operations

This is a varied role where organisation, flexibility and a positive approach will make a real difference every day.

Who You Are

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent organisational and administrative skills

  • Enjoys providing excellent customer service and building positive relationships

  • Is confident communicating with children, families, staff and visitors

  • Can manage competing priorities in a busy office environment

  • Has strong IT skills and is confident using Microsoft Office (experience of Arbor, SIMS or other MIS systems is desirable but not essential)

  • Is organised, accurate and pays close attention to detail

  • Can work independently while also contributing positively as part of a team

Previous experience within a school office is desirable, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
