Grade 3, Point 5 FTE £25,583.00 pa pro rata

20 hours per week – Flexible to meet the needs of the department  

Start Date: 1st September 2026

Term time only plus one Trust Development Day and one school INSET day.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Ralph Allen School. 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Art and Photography Technician to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to support the creative and technical aspects of the Art and Photography departments, enhancing the educational experience for our students and supporting the teaching of Art and Photography at A’ level and GCSE.  

The successful applicant will be responsible for ordering books and equipment, preparing, monitoring, and maintaining equipment and materials. Additionally, they will assist with demonstrations of equipment and processes, including those in the darkroom, photographic studio, software, and printmaking facilities. 

Ralph Allen is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children: the successful applicant must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post including checks with past employers and will need to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS.
