We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Headteacher to join our small, close-knit team at Lime Wood Primary School from September 2025.
This is a key leadership role for someone who is organised, proactive, and hands-on—a leader who thrives in a practical, flexible environment and is ready to contribute directly to the day-to-day running of the school. You’ll work closely with the Headteacher to support school improvement, staff development, and the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across the school.
As a small school, we value team members who roll up their sleeves and lead by example. You’ll be actively involved in teaching and have a clear presence throughout the school. This role requires someone who brings relevant leadership experience, a strong understanding of safeguarding, and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) training.

Has experience in school leadership and is ready to make a whole-school impact

Is confident leading safeguarding and has up-to-date DSL training

Is highly organised and can manage competing priorities with calm efficiency
