Assistant IT Manager job summary

You will have a proven track record in supporting network management and be motivated to develop our ICT systems helping to ensure that ICT contributes to an outstanding learning and working environment for our school community. You will be responsible for:

  • the maintenance of our systems
  • providing second/third-line support to users via the helpdesk system
  • supporting the training of IT technician(s)

Experience of network management within a school environment is desirable. Experience of networked systems (a Hyper-V virtualised Windows Server-based environment with AD integrated Apple Macs and Google Workspace managed Chromebooks) and the ability to self-manage, learn and communicate effectively are essential. You will be a good communicator and be able to liaise effectively with staff, students, governors and parents.
