Temporary contract to cover maternity leave
North East Futures UTC is located in central Newcastle in the newly redeveloped Stephenson Quarter. The building replicates a business environment with state of the art facilities. All students at North East Futures UTC specialise in either Healthcare Science or Computer Science, at 14 they will also study a broad and balanced curriculum and at Post 16 the curriculum becomes more specialist A levels and Level 3 courses. At capacity, we will be educating 600 students who will all have a passion for our specialisms.
You will assist us with working with students, parents and carers to improve attendance, reduce persistent absence and raise achievement. The role will involve undertaking home visits, providing regular updates on student attendance and implementing strategies to improve attendance.
