Salary: Full Time Equivalent £28,886 / Actual £23,859

Hours: 35 per week, 7.30am - 3pm Monday to Friday

Contract type: Permanent

Term time plus 1 week: 38 school weeks plus training days and 1 week flexible/ holiday working

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed person to join us as our Attendance Officer. This rewarding role focuses on supporting students who are severely absent from education, helping them to overcome barriers and successfully re-engage with learning. Working as part of a dedicated and supportive team and play a key role in promoting the attendance, welfare, and educational outcomes of some of our most vulnerable students. You will support the attendance team by ensuring accurate record keeping of statutory registration and day-to-day attendance administration upholding our high standards and expectations of student attendance and punctuality.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A resilient attitude and flexible approach
  • Excellent communication and teamworking skills
  • Analytical and methodical working practices

Closing date: Monday 19th October - noon

Interviews will be held on Wednesday 20th October
