The College is looking to appoint a full time enthusiastic and committed Business Manager with the experience, skills and initiative to join our Leadership Team. The Business Manager will be responsible for advising on financial and HR matters with the responsibility of overseeing the grounds and building maintenance of the school buildings.
As the Business Manager you will responsible for the operational management of the non-teaching element of the College. These will include finance, human resources, administration, health and safety, estates and facilities management, information technology, marketing and fundraising.
The Business Manager will promote the highest standards of business ethos within the administrative function of the College and ensure the most effective use of resources in support of the school’s learning objectives. The Business Manager will take also take a strategic role in leading, managing and inspiring of non-teaching employees of the College.
For this role, you will need to be educated to a high standard with ideally an accountancy qualification. You will also be required to hold a recognised School Business Management Qualification or have relevant experience of secondary school Business Management.
We are looking for a dynamic person with prior Business Management ideally in a school setting. This will also need to include at least 3+ years previous experience in financial management. The ideal candidate will need to have experience in producing reports and communicating to key stakeholders with experience in the understanding of complex financial information, managing budgets effectively and ensuring financial propriety with organisational procedures and current legislation
