We are seeking a reliable and organised individual to provide general clerical and administrative support within our school. Reporting to the School Coordinator or a designated staff member, you will handle a variety of tasks including reception duties, data entry, mail handling, and supporting school events.
Hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 12.30pm - 3.30pm, and Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm.
Key Responsibilities (Summary)
- Provide general administrative support including photocopying, scanning, emailing, and word processing.
- Maintain manual and digital records using school management systems.
- Act as the first point of contact for visitors and phone enquiries at reception.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and manage school supplies.
- Support the organisation of school events such as trips and photo days.
- Liaise with parents, carers, and staff regarding pupil attendance and other matters.
- Assist with maintaining attendance registers and basic data analysis.
- Handle cash in line with school finance procedures
- Produce and distribute the weekly school newsletter
- Support school marketing and communications (including social media posts)
