CEIAG & Progression Manager job summary

We are seeking a CEIAG & Progression Manager to join our team at Callerton Academy.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate careers professional to lead and develop our Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) provision, helping students make informed decisions about their future pathways and achieve their ambitions.

As CEIAG & Progression Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring all students have access to high-quality, impartial careers guidance and progression opportunities. Working closely with senior leaders, staff, employers, further and higher education providers, apprenticeship organisations and families, you will create and deliver a dynamic careers programme that inspires students and prepares them for successful futures.

This role would suit an individual who is committed to transforming young people's life chances, has an excellent understanding of post-16 and post-18 progression routes, and can motivate and engage students, staff and stakeholders alike.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret and use student progression data effectively.
  • Extensive knowledge of careers guidance, higher education opportunities, apprenticeships and progression pathways for young people.
  • Experience of delivering careers, progression, information, advice and guidance services to young people.
  • Experience of working effectively with students who require additional support.
  • The ability to motivate, inspire and support both staff and students.
