We are a 4-form-entry junior academy educating 500 children, and we are also a member of the Twynham Learning multi-academy trust.
As Headteacher of CJS, I have the privilege of leading an incredible staff who put the children at the centre of all they do. They work tirelessly to enable the children of Christchurch to leave primary education as exceptional citizens who are resilient and have a love for learning.
Children at CJS benefit from a high-quality curriculum which is truly broad and balanced. While we, of course, have a focus on ensuring the pupils embark on their secondary schooling as highly literate and numerate young people, we also ensure that we enrich them with everything from musical performances to sporting competitions. Our desire is for the children to leave as well-adjusted, highly-informed students who pursue ambitious learning in the future.
