Class Teacher to cover Maternity Leave job summary
We are looking for someone who;
• Is an excellent classroom practitioner, who can inspire our pupils to achieve success.
• Has a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and a secure subject knowledge in all of the curriculum areas (experienced teacher).
• Is able to work effectively as members of the staff team. In possession of the personal skills needed to be able to communicate effectively within the school and with a range of external professionals, parents and governors.
• Passionate about inclusion and the learning and development of every child.
• Must be willing to go ‘above and beyond’ for each pupil, while also looking to develop as a Primary Teacher.

At Springfield Primary School, inclusion is a key aspect of our whole school ethos. Our Enhanced Resource Facility is an integral part of our school, delivering specially tailored provision within a carefully designed learning environment, for children with complex communication and interaction needs.
This is an extremely exciting time to join our ERF team at Springfield; we are currently in the final stages of planning a significant expansion, which will include a brand new custom designed building, including a bespoke sensory room, three new classrooms and new outdoor play area.
We are, therefore, looking to appoint a teacher, who is committed, dedicated, determined and resilient - an individual who is knowledgeable about SEND and skilled at bringing out the best in all our learners so that
they develop their communication and interaction skills, allowing them to successfully access learning and develop positive friendships with their peers.
