What skills and experience we're looking for

  • To deliver high-quality, engaging education across two distinct phases: leading a Year 3 class through the critical transition from Key Stage 1 into Lower Key Stage 2, and providing a nurturing, play-based learning environment within our Nursery setting.
  • To foster an inclusive, stimulating environment that scaffolds children toward greater independence at both developmental stages, supports their academic and pastoral development, and drives progress in line with the School Development Plan.
  • To carry out, as directed by the Headteacher, the professional responsibilities of a main scale teacher as set out in the current School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document.
  • To support the school in meeting achievement and developmental targets outlined in the School Improvement Plan.

Townfield Primary School is a thriving school in Oxton, Wirral and that has come through a challenging period of transition.
