What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our happy, welcoming team on a fixed-term maternity leave cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real difference in the lives of our culturally and socially diverse pupils.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils of all backgrounds and abilities
Promote a love of learning and a positive, nurturing environment in the classroom
Effectively assess and monitor pupil progress, using data to inform your teaching
Contribute to the design and delivery of a vibrant, inclusive curriculum
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support the wider life of the school
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven experience teaching in Key Stages 1 or 2
A strong commitment to inclusion and the well-being of all pupils
High expectations of learning and behaviour
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Desirable Qualities:
Experience working in a diverse, inner-city setting
A passion for continued professional development
A positive, resilient, and flexible approach to teaching
A shared understanding of the school's vision and Church of England ethos
