Our Ofsted Inspection described Lyng Hall as a ‘Good’ school, ‘where all teaching is consistently good or better’. ‘Pastoral care for pupils is exceptional’ and as a result ‘the pupils feel very safe in school’. ‘Leaders have developed a highly personalised curriculum’ and ‘the schools work to promote personal development and welfare is outstanding’. Lyng Hall is also part of Finham Park Multi Academy Trust. We are ambitious in our goal of delivering a world class education to all pupils and are fast progressing towards this.

What the school offers its staff

If you join us as an unqualified teacher, you will cover lessons for absent colleagues for a period of time. You will access all of our training for new teachers and you will be attached to a subject area that relates to your specialism. You will also be able to join the Teacher’s Pension Scheme.

If you decide that teaching is the career for you, we will undertake to provide you with the necessary training with one of our partners. If you complete the course successfully you will be a qualified teacher at the school.
