Albrighton Primary School and Nursey is a caring and nurturing school situated in an idyllic setting within a village community next to RAF Cosford. We presently have 302 pupils on our school role including our Nursery. Numbers fluctuate regularly due to a large Service Family contingency. Driven by our continuous quest of self-improvement and belief that ‘Only our best will do!’, we are seeking an Educational Practitioner with the highest of standards and expectations.

The successful candidate will be:

  • An outstanding teacher with a proven record of enabling progress.
  • An experienced Senior Leader with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to support, empower and inspire others.
  • A strategic thinker committed to raising standards.
  • Passionate in promoting a clear child-centred vision.
  • Experienced in leading successful whole school initiatives.
  • Skilled in developing the teaching practice of colleagues.
  • Positive, pro-active and innovative.
  • An excellent role model, respected by their colleagues.
  • Able to keep up to date with developments in education.

The role will include a teaching responsibility across the primary age range.

Informal visits to our school are welcomed and encouraged. Please contact the school to make the arrangements.

We are committed to our pupils attaining the highest possible standards and strongly believe in our mantra ‘Only our best will do!’. As deputy, you would have the opportunity and support to continue your professional development also.
