What skills and experience we're looking for
We are currently seeking to appoint new Exam Invigilators to work as part of our existing team at Cambridge Academy for Science and Technology.
The role of an Invigilator is to ensure that examinations are conducted according to the regulations. Working closely with the Exams Officer you will:
Ensure examinations are completed in line with both internal and external requirements.
Have an understanding ofthe rules,regulationsand procedures to each of the differing examination boards.
Maintain the security and confidentiality of the examination.
You will be required to supervise students during their examinations, ensuring that standards for the integrity and security of examination papers and procedures are met.
This is a casual role and hours will vary during exam periods. An ideal candidate will:
Be reliable,flexibleand readily available during main examination periods
Have effective communication skills and good interpersonal skills
Work well as part of a team

Consequently, student results are strong, for example in 2022 Attainment 8 was 59.53, Progress 8 +0.62 and students achieved well above national averages in STEM subjects with half of the cohort getting grade 7+.
