What the school offers its staff

The children at our school are pretty special: we are hard workers; our families are from all over the world; we have good manners and we are uniquely friendly; our behaviour is great and we do at least one random act of kindness every day. We are all ambitious and want a teacher who will help us achieve our big dreams.

This position is suitable for an experienced teacher or an ECT with EYFS experience. All class teachers are provided with a laptop to support their ability to work flexibly out of school hours at home. There is free parking on site in our staff car park and we are close to Kingston town centre for public transport links.

King Athelstan Primary School is a two form entry, community primary school close to the centre of Kingston upon Thames.

We provide education for children from 3 to 11 years in our school (currently 419 pupils) and also offer a wide range of services and activities for 0-5 year olds and their families through Kingston Town Children’s Centre that is also based on our site.

We offer a happy, dedicated and very supportive staff team and we provide excellent professional development opportunities.
