What skills and experience we're looking for

Qualifications and Experience

-Honours degree
-Qualified Teacher Status
- Proven experience in KS2 leadership
- Evidence of further professional development
-Excellent organisational skills
- NPQSL or equivalent leadership qualification - Experience leading statutory assessments or a core subject

Teaching Quality and Experience

- Excellent classroom practitioner
- Strong understanding of KS2 curriculum
- Experience using data to drive pupil progress
- Ability to inspire and support staff
- Experience delivering CPL
- Familiarity with KS2 statutory assessments

Leadership and Management

- Experience of leading teams and managing staff
- Able to motivate, promote good relationships and effectively communicate with all stakeholders
- Ability to monitor and evaluate teaching and learning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of leading change and improvement
- Experience of working with external agencies or partnerships
- Understanding of safeguarding
- The ability to set high and clear expectations, to hold others accountable for performance and the contributions they make to the school community
