Mental Health and Wellbeing Practioner job summary
Honiton Community College is looking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic person to join our dedicated and experienced Wellbeing Centre team. The role involves responding to dysregulated students, one to one and small group work which aims to support students with their social, emotional and mental health needs.
Essential qualities include a genuine desire to help and support adolescents through the challenges they face, empathy, a good sense of humour and an emotional intelligence that enables you to calmly communicate with our students. This role would be suited to someone with experience of working with young people and an interest and understanding of counselling.
