What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for candidates with the following skills which we consider essential:

  • Proven experience in premises, site, or facilities management

  • Experience carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs (e.g. plumbing, decorating, basic electrical work)

  • Experience supervising contractors and/or cleaning staff

  • Experience maintaining safe working environments

Other desirable skills and experience include:

  • Experience working in a school or educational setting

  • Experience managing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes

  • Experience of compliance monitoring and record keeping for statutory checks

What the school offers its staff

The nursery school is set in the heart of Greenwich, delivering high-quality education to children aged two, three and four years. Inclusive and nurturing, we have been serving our richly diverse community of local children and families for many years.

The successful candidate will manage a purpose built building, with good transport links. The nursery is set on a site alongside a Greenwich maintained primary school (separate).

The school can offer a flexible working pattern. The successful candidate must be able to be on site at 8am and again at 6pm to lock up, but the hours in between can be worked flexibly in agreement with the nursery.
