What skills and experience we're looking for

We require a Primary Specialist with the ability to teach across all primary Key Stages. The role involves teaching pupils with medical needs who are unable to access mainstream education at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Many of our pupils have gaps in their education and we strive to implement creative teaching strategies to reduce the impact of educational disadvantage, enabling all our pupils to access learning and make expected progress. You should be passionate about developing and supporting the needs of the whole child and committed to enabling all pupils to achieve their potential. We are looking for a qualified temporary Primary teacher with tenacity, positivity and experience of teaching EYFS, KS1 and KS2. You should have QTS and a track record as a consistently good practitioner. Duties include teaching a variety of pupils, some with S/PMLD ensuring that work is differentiated to meet the specific needs of pupils who are admitted to a hospital ward setting.
