About The Role
We are seeking a friendly, professional and organised Receptionist/Admin Assistant to join our team and act as the first point of contact for our Academy. This is a varied and rewarding role, providing an efficient front-of-house service to students, parents, staff, visitors and members of the wider community. You will play an important part in creating a welcoming environment, ensuring enquiries are handled effectively and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the school office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Welcoming visitors and managing sign-in, safeguarding and visitor procedures.
- Handling incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries to the appropriate member of staff.
- Providing a professional and helpful service to students, parents, staff and external agencies.
- Managing deliveries, post and parcels, ensuring items are recorded and distributed appropriately.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating information on school systems.
- Supporting general administrative tasks, including filing, correspondence and office administration.
- Ensuring reception areas, displays and information points remain welcoming, accurate and up to date.
