Are you a dynamic estates or facilities professional ready to make a significant impact on educational environments? We're looking for an inspiring and collaborative Regional Estates Manager to lead the estates and facilities management for our portfolio of academies in the London and South of the country. This is an opportunity to ensure our school buildings are meticulously cared for, compliant, safe, and well-presented, directly contributing to the success and well-being of our pupils and staff.

In this crucial role, you'll inspire and support a dedicated team, fostering a solutions-focused culture. You'll work closely with school leaders and central Trust leadership to deliver a high-quality, responsive estates service, ensuring all health and safety legislation and statutory requirements are met.

Working with the wider regional and central teams to deliver service to academies that allow them to operate economically, effectively, safely, and efficiently and provide suitable environments for staff and pupils. We're looking for someone who can help deliver our estates strategy that balances operational needs with long-term sustainability, truly shaping our learning environments by understanding the link between space and educational outcomes.

We are looking for someone within commutable distance of our London academies (ideally based in west London) and with ability to travel to the other academies in the south region. You will be an essential member of the central infrastructure and sustainability team, having oversight of our academies within the London and south region, providing them with specialist advice and guidance.

You will be onsite working for several days a week at our London academies while you get established in the role. There will also be a requirement to travel nationally occasionally.

About you

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in estates or facilities management, ideally within the education sector or a similar complex environment. You'll possess strong knowledge of design educational spaces, project management delivery of capital programmes, coaching and line management.

You will be exceptional, values driven individual who understands the importance of building design, to enhance the learning experience. You will have experience implementing building design programmes from sole building space issues to complex specialist spaces. Your expert knowledge and experience will make you a trusted advisor to multiple stakeholders, providing advice and guidance to resolve issues quickly.

With a proven track record of management experience, the successful candidate will have the ability to manage significant budgets and contract management, through procuring and managing services to ensure value for money and key performance indicators are met.
