  • SENDCo (special educational needs and disabilities coordinator)

• Working pattern: Full time, part time: Full time 5 days per week. Part time 2 - 3 days per week
• Contract type: Permanent
• Full-time equivalent salary: MPS/UPS
• Additional allowances:

  SEND Allowance £2270 - £4479 depending on experience

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a dedicated, caring and hardworking SENDCo with:

• very high expectations of what each child can achieve; a proven track record in raising pupil attainment
• knowledge and understanding of how to identify individual needs and organise appropriate interventions;
• an understanding of how children learn and the complexities of this process;
• the aspiration and desire to work collaboratively with children, colleagues and parents;
• the ability to successfully lead a team of in class support staff establishing effective working relationships and flexible working practices;
• experience of following guidance, taking direction and meeting deadlines;
• strong interpersonal skills;
• a creative and innovative approach to school improvement.
