Site Technician job summary
Salary: Grade 7, Point 8-14: £26,824 - £29,540 per annum (subject to experience)
Contract: Permanent, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
We are looking to appoint an exceptional Site Technician to join the team at Shaftesbury School and support the delivery of Estates/Facilities provision. In this varied, hands-on role, you'll be responsible for site security, maintenance, compliance checks, basic repairs, grounds upkeep and supporting the day-to-day operation of school premises. No two days are the same - from carrying out DIY repairs and safety inspections to supporting contractors and ensuring our facilities provide a safe, welcoming environment for staff and students.

- Full clean driving licence desirable/required for trust-wide support duties

The successful candidate will have to meet the person specification and the post is subject to safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS check and Children’s Barred List check. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
