Teacher of Design and Technology job summary

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, reflective and innovative teacher to join our friendly, supportive and dedicated Design and Technology team at Torquay Boys’ Grammar School following a retirement. Design and Technology is a highly regarded part of the curriculum at TBGS and as such is a well-resourced, successful department with a consistently strong student uptake at GCSE and A level. As a member of the Design and Technology team you will join us in reflecting on and developing an exciting curriculum with the needs of our students at its heart. We have lively extra-curricular opportunities for students and a supportive approach to staff development and CPD. This is a full-time, permanent role, with teaching across the years 7 to 13, though we could accommodate a teacher who wished to have a slightly reduced contact time with an FTE of around 0.75. Applications will be reviewed as they are received, with interviews taking place as and when suitable applications are received. As such, early application is advised.
