PERSON SPECIFICATION AS FOLLOWS:

ESSENTIAL

- Qualified teacher status

- A clear understanding of the Primary Curriculum

- Recent teaching experience within the KS1 phase

- Can demonstrate strong pupil outcomes through recent teaching

- Commitment to Christian principles

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

- High expectations of work and behaviour

- Commitment to complete the 3 terms for class continuity

DESIRABLE

- Recent CPD which has been used to improve pupil outcomes

- Recent Safeguarding CPD

- Experience of planning & delivering a Creative Curriculum

- Can evidence high quality planning

- Expertise in leading a curriculum area

- Experience of supporting and leading colleagues

- Willingness to work in partnership with parents

- Ability to work as a positive team player

- Willingness to lead extra-Curricular activities

- Willingness to support a Curriculum area
