TEACHER OF MUSIC REQUIRED FOR MATERNITY COVER FROM JANUARY 2027-JANUARY 2028

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Music to join our thriving and successful Music Department. St Mark’s is an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ school with excellent resources and facilities, a strong programme of extra-curricular activities and a real commitment to developing students’ musical talents.
This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring teacher to join our school community and help nurture a love of music, creativity and performance. You will have the opportunity to teach enthusiastic and talented students within a diverse and inclusive community where excellent relationships between staff and students foster a culture of exemplary behaviour and a love of learning. Please note, this is not suitable for ECTs.
We are looking for someone who has:
Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Music
The ability to teach Music from KS3 to KS4 and ideally KS5
High expectations and be committed to enabling all students to fulfil their potential.
Effective communication and organisation skills.
A willingness to develop their skills and help our team to develop even further.
