What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate will:
- Have Cor above in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Hold a NVQ 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent.
- Be required to work flexibly with individuals or groups of children
- Have experience of working with primary-aged children
- A general understanding of national/foundation stage curriculum and other relevant learning programs/ strategies.
- Experience in supporting children with additional learning and behaviour needs would be advantageous.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our teaching and learning team as soon as possible. You will be working with a dedicated team to help support children access teaching and learning. You will be working with whole class and small group work as well as with individuals on a one to one basis. We are seeking a friendly and caring person who is able to establish positive working relationships with children and adults and thereby become an intrinsic part of our school team.
