Up lift to Grade 7 for cover supervisor hours.

What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Proficient in both written and spoken English, to a professional standard.
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent.

  • Have experience of supporting children’s learning in a school
  • Have good communication and behaviour management skills.
  • Be prepared to regularly cover classes for teacher absence.
  • Be prepared to work across a range of year groups and at both sites where required.
  • Be prepared to be trained in first aid and diabetes support.

Further details about the role

There are two roles

- one based at our Victoria Road site (DE14 2LU) with our younger pupils from Reception to Year 3.

- one based at our Orchard site (DE13 0RA) with our pupils from Year 4 to Year 6.

The posts will work as a classroom Teaching Assistant and provide cover for Teacher absence when required.
