What skills and experience we're looking for
Inspire Learning Trust is a Multi Academy Trust based in Rotherham which also includes Oakwood High School, Sitwell Junior School, Thomas Rotherham College and Winterhill School.
Applications are invited for two Trust Sports Centre Assistants to support in the day to day running of the Trust Sports Facilities (including Oakwood High School and Thomas Rotherham College). Successful candidates will join us on a 12-month fixed term contract with the potential to become permanent. Required days will typically be Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday (typical shifts outlined within the job description available). Whilst the Trust will make every effort to maintain a set working pattern, changes may be necessary to ensure service delivery and would be agreed with appropriate notice. There will be opportunity for additional hours during our peak season from September – March.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent customer care skills, effective verbal & written communication skills and the ability to motivate and encourage individuals. Candidates will ideally hold a gym instructor/sport coaching or leisure industry qualification, have excellent interpersonal skills, be punctual and able to follow HSE regulations. An up to date first aid qualification is desirable.
