What skills and experience we're looking for

Pimperne Primary School are seeking to appoint a calm and caring Administrative Officer to support our busy office and to support Lunchtimes for our children.

This role involves –

Ø Being the welcoming face of our school for our children, visitors and parents.

Ø Manage the school inbox and ensure timely and appropriate response.

Ø Supporting all aspects of office administration including processing orders and some payments.

Ø Managing bookings for our wraparound care provision.

Ø Providing first aid to children as required and providing our playground first aid at lunchtimes.


We are seeking a professional individual who:

Ø Is a natural multi-tasker with strong organisational and administrative skills

Ø Is flexible, calm, warm and approachable.

Ø Has or is interested in first aid qualification.

Ø Creates positive relationships with children and their families.

Ø Has experience of using Microsoft products effectively.

Ø Is able to support our Website and social media presence.

Ø Has experience of using ‘education’ systems such as Bromcom although training will be given.

Ø Is committed to teamwork in a friendly school with a child centred ethos.

Ø Wants to make a difference and knows tomorrow is a new day of opportunities.

Ø Knows that a smile can make everyone feel a little better!

Ø Has excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills

Ø Is detail-oriented with a ‘right first time’ mindset, completing work to a high standard

Ø Is a self-starter who is motivated to use initiative and has a good attention to detail

Ø Has experience of working in an administrative role, undertaking variety of tasks
