What skills and experience we're looking for
ESSENTIAL
- Good standard of education incl GCSE Maths & English Grade C or above
- Previous experience of working in a school environment
- Preparation of statistical reports
- Knowledge of Arbor and its various modules
- Previous experience/knowledge of Exams organiser/Assessment Manager
- General and specialist application packages (eg Word, Excel)
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to function under pressure, establish priorities and work to strict deadlines
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Confident
- Positive and motivated
- Initiative
- Co-operative
- Ability to keep calm and contribute to all the resolution of problems
- Co-operative/able to work with people at all levels

- Flexible – must be willing to meet examination commitments during the examination season.

Bishop Heber High School has 1,300 students, including 225 in the Sixth Form, and serves three large villages and surrounding hamlets in this beautiful area of south-west Cheshire. We are looking for an experienced Examinations and Data Examinations Officer to join the support staff team at Bishop Heber High School. They will work alongside the current Examinations Officer, part time Data and Examinations Officer and the Data Manager. The successful applicant will have experience of data manipulation, analysis and reporting. They will also need to have strong organisational and interpersonal skills, and an attention to detail. The successful candidate will need to be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and to be able to communicate effectively with students, staff, governors, parents and visitors.
