We are a nurturing, inclusive and aspirational school, committed to ensuring that every child thrives both academically and personally.

Following a period of sustained improvement and some of the strongest outcomes in the school’s recent history, we are now looking to appoint an exceptional leader to join our Senior Leadership Team and help shape the next stage of our journey.

This role offers a unique opportunity to combine strategic leadership with operational excellence. As Deputy Head Teacher, you will take responsibility for the leadership of either our Infant site, ensuring that the school runs smoothly, safely and effectively on a daily basis. Alongside this, you will contribute to whole-school improvement priorities, supporting the continued development of teaching, learning and outcomes for all pupils.

At Anglesey, culture matters. We are proud of the calm, purposeful and respectful environment we are building, and we are seeking a leader who will continue to strengthen this — someone who leads with clarity, integrity and high expectations, and who can inspire both pupils and staff.

We are looking for a leader who is:

• Values-driven, with a strong moral purpose

• Committed to high standards and continuous improvement

• Able to lead, support and challenge staff effectively

• Organised, resilient and solution-focused

• Passionate about making a difference to children’s lives

In return, you will join a dedicated and supportive team, work with enthusiastic and diverse pupils, and have the opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact within a school that is ambitious for its future.

Visits to the school are warmly encouraged, and I would welcome the opportunity to meet you and share more about our vision and the role.

Thank you once again for your interest in Anglesey Primary School. I look forward to receiving your application.

Yours sincerely,
