What skills and experience we're looking for

of the Academy's operations, working closely with senior leaders and colleagues across both phases of the school to ensure our systems, examinations and whole-school information are accurate, effective and compliant.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the day-to-day management and development of the Academy's MIS, examinations systems and associated digital platforms.
  • Producing and analysing whole-school reports, dashboards and data to support senior leaders with decision-making and school improvement.
  • Leading statutory data returns, including the School Census, assessment returns and examination data submissions.
  • Managing the full internal and external examination cycle, ensuring compliance with JCQ and awarding body requirements.
  • Supporting colleagues to use MIS and data systems effectively and maintaining high standards of data quality across the Academy.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes through automation, digital workflows and effective use of technology.

You will have experience of working with school MIS systems and whole-school data within an educational setting, alongside strong analytical, IT and organisational skills. A working knowledge of JCQ regulations and examinations administration is also essential.
