• Working pattern: Full time: We are looking to appoint a full time teacher of ASD children. Our working day is from 08:50 to 15:50 each day.
• Contract type: Permanent
• Full-time equivalent salary: £28,000 - £41,604
• Pay scale: M1 - M6, UPS1 - UPS3
• Additional allowances:

  SEN Allowance of £2,384 is also payable for this position

What skills and experience we're looking for

• Will lead a small team of teaching assistants to deliver outstanding teaching and learning to our pupils whose primary need is ASD
• Will fully support the ethos and aims of our school

• Will communicate effectively with parents, pupils and staff
• Can remain calm and positive under pressure
• Can work as part of a team
• Is flexible, adaptable and able to multitask
• Is confident in the use of IT
• Will coordinate a subject/curriculum area within school – to be negotiated with the successful candidate
• Is thoroughly professional, understanding issues of confidentiality and the need to protect the welfare of children
