What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to appoint a Wellbeing and Pastoral Manager with excellent organisational and inter-personal skills to support and enhance students’ emotional wellbeing and mental and physical health on individual and wider level by liaising with external agencies, an internal structure of Tutors, Heads of House and Heads of Year and other stake holders. The appointed candidate will take on a leading role in the interface between school and parents while promoting children safeguarding in the school.

The successful candidate will act as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, be efficient in data management and analysis and have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Lawrence Sheriff School is a boys’ grammar school with a co-education sixth form. We have approximately 1080 students, over 380 of whom are in the sixth form. We believe that much of our success - including our consistently high Ofsted grading and our high rankings in DFE performance tables - can be directly linked to our emphasis upon LSS being a happy place to work for both pupils and staff.
